i am not saying that i want to be invincbile. i am just mearly asking a question to why i am taking so much damage against magical damage only. it just seems to be a little too much compared to monsters on the same level.

no i am not... i am doing everything that i am supposed to be doing... i am not asking this question and being an idiot. i am just asking a plain question. maybe my answer lies in the fact that magical characters do more damage than other creatures. i am sorry to ask this stupid question but i don't feel like i should be treated like i'm stupid...

but thanks guys. i think i have it figured out on my own

thanks
KT

If you are talking about the quest where you have to drop a message into a log (mysterious message), the wind rider there are killers. First, they overwhelm you with numbers, 2nd mesemer are made to "shut you down" so you can't do what you normally can do.

I forgot the map name of that area, but they have about 10 wind rider in a group patroling the entire map (about 5 groups? 2 are more stationary). Avoid them! No class can stand up to 12+ mesemers with perfect timing cry of furstration (with the exception of spell breaker and obsidian flesh).

God, I wish I have those inhuman reflexes... I would get 8 of myselves into HA/GvG and interrupt EVERYTHING XD

I think i got some tips for you
I tank alot in grentch footprint(outside deldimor warcamp) and i hate the Necro, rangers and mesmers outhere.
when you have bleeding+conjure phantasm on you+life siphon=-10 bibs health regen u got big trouble.

but this is my way to counter it:
1: dolyak signet(to reduce overall dmg(magical and melee)
2: watch yourself(another armor bonus)
3: endure pain(gives me around 270 extra Hp)
4: healing signet((healing of 120)
5: deadly riposte(sword required, great for countering melee attackers)
6: shield bash(shield required, again a great counter against melee)
7: Gladiators Defense(75% blocking chance)
8: RES sig

Armor: all platemail major absorption, major vigor, minor tactics and minor strengh.

weapon: fiery spartha of fortitude +25 health
shield:armor 16 dmg -2 while hexed.

attribute:
tactics 12(+1)
strenght 12(+2)

when you got trouble with windriders and they are killing you to fast, set up dolyak and watch yourself(around a armor boost of 50 armor)
then keep using healing sig to keep your health high.
when they are using cry of frustration, use endure pain.
your party will do the rest(if they dont, they are noobs)

with this build I can survive 10 stone summit mesmers necro warriors and rangers (lvl 20+)(other spellcasters, big groups got the same base) a long time(around 10 minutes) this will be enough for your party to kill your enemies

Greets Dj Nosferatu

Ps this is a tank build, not a kill build
